Anyone working for the Iranian state in the UK must now declare it or face criminal charges. A criminal network known as the “Foxtrot Network,” linked to Iranian-backed violence in Europe, has also been sanctioned.

All UK police forces are now being trained on how to identify and deal with state threats. The Home Secretary has asked the government’s terrorism law reviewer, Jonathan Hall KC, to examine how current laws can be updated to tackle threats from states more effectively.
